A peak inside the greenhouse currently. Last year we had a 14x20 prop house and this year we lost it to the wind and in hindsight, this might have been a hint from the universe. We converted our 50ft gothic tunnel into our prop house over night and well...she’s at full capacity and we are already discussing what we are going to do next year due to the rate we are growing! (Personal growth, not the kind we do in here ) we are fully stocked with flowers, herbs and a diversity of 2021’s abundance. I’m most excited about our 27 varieties of peppers, and 20 varieties of tomatoes we start everything you eat from seed right here on the farm with our hands using @vermontcompost. Another muddy day means another day potting up and starting more greens in our green sanctuary

We are so entirely blown away by all your donations today. To try to capture our gratitude in words would take away how special and powerful the exchange of money is. This is our first official year of full time Solidago Farm, we haven’t had an income since the end of market season 2020, we’ve had some BIG investments we’ve had to make (like the 25k kind of investments) and market doesn’t begin until mid May. With some unexpected challenges the last couple weeks (losing our g...reenhouse to wind and other wind damage) it’s been some sleepless nights. With our days starting at dawn and ending with dragging our exhausted bodies in for dinner at 8:30, clutching our aching backs, it’s incredibly liberating to have folks support every drop of sweat that rolls down your face and giving their hard earned life points to us to support us doing what we love. I say none of this with expectations of praise or complaint, I say it sharing a look into the life of someone who works with the land and is passionate about providing for others. What we are trying to say is thank you. Huge. Big time. I wish we could all hug and laugh together and I could feed you a meal. I wish we could dance around a fire and share our abundance. We love you. We appreciate you. We truly couldn’t do it without our community. See more
