To My fellow Officers and Those of the Home Assoc., the Auxiliary and the Sons, and all Members of our Post 777, and to all Veterans, I am hoping that all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Please STAY SAFE. Ray Diamond Cmmdr.

Sunday, Sept. 27th, 2020 was GOLD STAR MOTHERS DAY. We want extend our deepest condolences to all those Mothers who lost their Son or Daughter during any conflict involving the United States. We would like to make special mention of Elizabeth (Liz) Butts who dedicated her life to charity work for Vietnam Veterans by serving on the State and National levels of the American Gold Star Mothers. Elizabeth lost her Son Gary in 1969 in Vietnam, who served in the Army. Elizabeth was a Lifetime member of the American Legion and VFW. She served several offices of the Women’s Auxiliary of our Post including President. Elizabeth and her Family at that time resided in Woodlyn.

Due to the Pandemic, our annual Memorial Day Parade has been cancelled, and also the Eddystone parade which we participate. We can still Honor all Veterans especially those who gave their ALL so we could enjoy the Freedoms we have today by flying the STARS AND STRIPES. Let us not forget all Police Officers and Firemen who put their lives on the line everyday to keep us safe and those who gave their life. Ray Diamond Cmmdr.
