Many thanks to Keneseth Israel synagogue’s clergy and volunteers for hosting over 150 residents of Federation Housing for their annual Hanukkah celebration. Federation Housing’s seniors enjoyed an wonderful afternoon filled with food, dancing and socialization.

Friends of Federation is a Federation Housing program that assists our residents who are in desperate need of finances for means in which their health insurance does not cover. This program has also assisted for various emergent matters. Our most recent resident that Friends of Federation was able to assist was in dire need of extensive dental work. In this particular case, the resident did not have any family to turn to as she does not have any surviving family members. She was extremely thankful for this program. Programs like these rely on your donations. We would like to thank you on behalf of all of our residents who have benefited from Friends of Federation.

We are pleased to announce that we are once again recipients of a National Affordable Housing Management Association Communities of Quality (COQ) Award. In September 2017, Federation Housing (FH) received this award, which recognizes affordable housing communities that have achieved a high standard of excellence in the way in which they are managed, the services they provide residents and the experience and training of personnel. Since 1970, FH has been a leading provider of affordable housing and services for the elderly in the Philadelphia region. FH is committed to expanding their mission of developing properties and providing services to meet the on-going demand of our low-income seniors in the community.
