The puppy, bred at The Seeing Eye in Morristown, NJ, is a female German shepherd. Jim will teach her basic commands, good house manners and expose her to the many public places she will go as Seeing Eye dog. When she’s about 15-months old, she will return to The Seeing Eye in Morristown, NJ for ...her formal training as a guide dog. If she successfully completes her training, she’ll be matched with a blind or visually impaired person in the US or Canada! We won’t know the puppy’s name until Jim gets her, but we know it will begin with the letter P. Anyone care to guess her name? If you guess her name correctly, you will win a $25 Amazon gift card.
