Dear Lucky Gumbas, This Friday is our second by monthly poker night at FIGS. A special card shark Frankie 8.5 Fingers Esposito will be making a cameo appearance for the game. He said something about wanting to make his rent payment. We’ll see who is as lucky as Pietro at our last game were he cleaned up and being such a devoted club member he donated his winnings to the club. All had a great time. Time: 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM... Date: Friday July 31, 2020 Limit .25 to $1-$2 Food served: Pizza, Hot Dogs and stuff like that Beer, wine, soft drinks and water available Come and relax in the air-conditioned new addition and have some fun with your brother Gumbas. Unfortunately there is no smoking in FIGS but if enough cigar smoking poker players come they can sit and play out on the back porch! Tuesday FIGS hosted festa di wild game. Delicious meals created by our resident chefs included rabbit stuffed with a parmesan and egg mix, wild boar greens & beans, elk meatloaf, and venison meatballs in red sauce. All enjoyed by 43 men and the event was so successful figs was asked to become a chapter of PETA, people eating tasty animals. We were honored to accept this recognition.
