If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 1 Peter 1:3

Resurrection Sunday Service

Just before dawn Sunday, the stone had been already rolled away and the tomb was found empty. He had risen! In one of the greatest historical events in all of human history, Jesus had risen from the dead. Jesus paid the penalty for the sin of the world and was raised from the dead so we can now be forgiven of every sin. No mere man could have done this, but Jesus was the Son of God and he is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father or goes to heaven wit...hout him (John 14:6). If we confess our sin, he is faithful and just to cleanse us of all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Jesus gave definitive proof of the resurrection by showing himself to many people afterward. He talked to people and let people touch him. He reminded them that this had all been prophesied. And people believed after they saw. People fell to their knees and called him their Lord and God. Yes, Jesus let them see the proof of his resurrection. But he also said, Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed. We that live today have a special blessing over the original disciples. We haven’t seen with our eyes, but our heart knows the presence and love of Christ. See more

Join us for worship this morning. One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple. Psalm 27:4

It’s been a year since the pandemic struck the world...but remember: despite calamities, hope belongs to those who repent and believe. In Christ, an eternal inheritance awaits every faithful saint.

On Holy Saturday, Since it was the Jewish Sabbath, all activity came to a grinding halt, and Jesus' followers had to wait until the next day to properly prepare his body for burial. Although the religious leaders felt satisfied when they handed Jesus over to Pontius Pilate to be crucified they remembered Jesus' words that He would come back from the dead. Consequently they asked Pilate to make the tomb as secure as possible. This consisted of a guard, either Roman or Jewish..., a large stone rolled at the entrance of the tomb, and the Roman seal. The Roman Seal was sign of authentication that the tomb was occupied and the power and authority of Rome stood behind the seal. Anyone found breaking the Roman seal would suffer the punishment of an unpleasant death. However, no matter what precautions they took, no scheme of man, and no power from hell could stop what was about to take place. See more
