Exercise is medicine..... My dad had a quadruple bypass in 2017 . He was regularly going to the gym, playing golf and walking his dog. Covid hit, March 2020,he stopped his workouts and our family dog (Toby) passed away to the bridge. His diet was taking a big toll on him. He was inactive and begging for help. Fast forward to March of this year, he had been saying he felt sluggish, out of breath, and just didn’t feel well. His primary dr informed him he gained 12 lbs in 1 1/...2 years, he needed to get moving and make changes to lose weight. He saw his cardiologist at St Mary’s he had a full day of testing to ensure he didn’t have any blockages. The cardiologist informed him that his results are all within the normal range of a 74 year old man but he was feeling unwell due to inactivity. He needed to lose weight and get moving again. He has been exercising over the last 3 weeks at the gym and he is finally feeling like himself again. This pandemic has left secret scars on our bodies. Exercise is medicine.. Rob Gill
