An election notice regarding a change of polling place location for Ward 35, Division 07 was posted on the exterior of the Lawncrest Library. The anticipated new location is St. Williams Memorial Hall at 6200 Rising Sun Avenue. The hearing is to be held October 7th 2020 at the Convention Center, 12th and Arch Streets, Hall F.

We are now open for browsing and computer usage Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Masks are required to enter the building and we ask that you keep visits to 30 minutes to help maintain safe occupancy limits and allow for safe social distancing. Our drop box is open 24/7 for material returns. We ask that all material, even during open hours be placed in the drop box. Returned material is quarantined a minimum of 7 days prior to handling. Staff is available Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9 a.m. 5 p.m. for phone reference, to help place reserves, and schedule material appointments. You must ask within 10 days of when your food spoiled. Contact your local welfare office or the Philadelphia Customer Service Center at (215) 560-7226. If your power is still off, call PECO at (800) 841-4141 to make sure PECO knows.

The deadline to receive ballots by mail has been extended, but the ballot must be postmarked today. Also, a number of polling sites are collecting mail-in ballots. The Office of the City Commissioners posted a list of locations.
