This year's competitive season has officially ended, and we are all so grateful for getting back to as close to normal as possible and getting to attend in-person competitions. We are thankful for this team's dedication, motivation, grit, and sisterhood and want to shout CONGRATS at the top of our lungs to them on their last competition - very tough for a beginner team and a huge circuit, but ...that's what these dancers do....take on challenges, learn and grow from them, and continue to trend on a level-ing up direction! Even though things aren't back to full normalcy, we're feeling blessed that this team just gets the opportunity to compete in-person especially after the whole season was canceled last year. They're the definition of resilient and see things through as much as possible even being very new to this part of the dance worl...d. 3 regional competitions all brand new routines/no recycling great adjudications/rising scores/overall awards/specialty awards one big green beating heart for the love of dance and fellowship of a team Good luck team Edge! Well Forte fans + anyone in Pennsylvania, it's clear we won't be spending our last bit of 2020 at a bar in person ringing in the new year, so.... ' ! YES, we are holding a FREE virtual Barre Fitness class Thursday morning as part of this week's #thankfulThursday to say "thank you" to all of our Forte family and all of our supporters AND to send 2020 out with a bang! ... Of course, all adults are welcome just like our weekly drop in Barre Fit/HIIT class goes, but we are also welcoming any current Forte dancer (level 3 and up) to take class too! TO GET A SPOT: 1. This is a donation-based class only/or free - and open to anyone reading this post! If you'd like to donate, a link will be sent to you once you get added to the class 2. FORTE! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! We are officially through 2020 and couldn't be prouder or more humbled by all of your dedication, support, and resilience! While life won't just magically go back to normal right after the clock strikes midnight, we are ELATED to kick off this new year and continue right where we left off- there is SO much more goodness to come, even if there are setbacks or obstacles in between with the global pandemic, but we can't help but feel anything less tha...n excited and grateful! #ForteFriday Welcome to the weekend! DANCERS!!! you all did a wonderful job all week taking classes safely-distanced on Zoom to take extra precautions on potential virus exposure. We are SO PROUD of you all! From our 2 year olds all the way up to our adult classes, the focus and dedication was not only wonderful but inspiring to witness. You all are resilient and we couldn't be more appreciative! Thank you for continuing to pivot and adapt to adjustments we have to make in the present as we try to keep dancing on during a global pandemic

It's #techniqueTuesday so it is totally fitting to share the excitement and remind you that it's almost time for our Annual Dance Convention! Join us for a weekend of master classes, dance skill development, and overall amazing experience in Pittsburgh! Convention weekend is encouraged but not required but will do wonders for your dance growth. Enjoy the weekend with your dance family, your teachers, and some famous industry choreographers and master teachers! Convention has ...been delayed to February due to the pandemic, but this circuit that we always attend has safety at its highest and top priority! They have already successfully held competitions and a nationals over the summer with the highest and most secured safety measures, have already held 2019 conventions in various states, and even offer a virtual option! In-person spots are limited and all rooms are taped off so that dancers remain socially distant at all times. See the front desk for pricing and registration.

#ForteFriday WOW! We MUST give a shout out to all the parents of the Forte family! With this past week's classes being virtual due to the shutdown, it was such an amazing thing to have your support in us instructing your dancer(s) virtually with having you present with them! We know how hard this whole pandemic has been on the kiddos, but us adults have it equally tough and you parents have outdone yourselves! We're sure you spend countless hours and days on Zoom with your... kids for school and maybe even your jobs, but to see you right alongside them and helping out to ensure they can still dance was SIMPLY AMAZING! (And shout out to our 2 year old classes' parents....woohoo!) Our Forte family/Green Heart Gang is just that and seeing family love and support during these tough times warms our green hearts and makes feel even more grateful to continue doing what we do even in the toughest of times
