May is our favorite month at Fostering Hope! It is Foster Care month and it is our birthday month! Every year in May we select a few families from Montgomery County Office of Children and Youth to sponsor as a thank you for all that they give as a family to the children who come into their home. This is a great way you can help support a child and their foster family in our community! May is National Foster Care Awareness month and we are showing our appreciation to our resource families with free ice cream! Head over to Bruster’s in Audubon today, between 5pm-7pm, with the printed coupon below, for your free, single scoop cone for the whole family! Thank you for all you do for the children and their families in our community!

Contractors and handymen/women of Facebook! We are SO CLOSE to our office being complete! We have one final project we need done. We are looking to build a folding/storage table for the center of our closet similar to the one pictured below. We will compensate you for the supplies purchased if you are able to donate your time! May is Foster Parent Appreciation month and our anniversary month! We are constantly in awe of the resource families we work with and we are so grateful for your continued dedication to the children of our community! We are SO EXCITED for this! Special thank you to Evan Wilson of Scout Troop 230, and volunteers, for all your hard work and dedication this weekend! Evan offered to build us custom shelves for our storage room for his Eagle Award and his hard work is greatly appreciated! Having these shelves will allow for better storage of our items and give us even more space to take in more donations. We love partnering with members of our community to fulfill the needs of others!
