What's in a name? The name Sangiovese comes from the Latin, "sanguis Jovis," meaning "blood of Jove." You might also be wondering, who this "Jove" guy is...well, Jupiter (or Jove in Roman mythology) is the god of sky and thunder. Kinda like Zeus, but not Greek. Hence, the NASA inspired vision for our Sangiovese label. With a winery in Moon, it's kinda hard to stray from all things celestial! All this knowledge makin' ya thirsty?
