Generally speaking, yes whitening your teeth is safe! However, several minor side effects are sometimes associated with teeth whitening. These include gum irritation, tooth sensitivity, and impact on dental restorations. Always talk to your dentist before whitening.

Does Santa have Sleep Apnea ? I get asked that question often this time of year. I’m pretty sure he does, and I’m pretty sure I could help him! Let’s look at the evidence. He unfortunately is not just checking his list of good boys and girls; he is also checking off the list some high-risk factors that are indicators of sleep apnea.... Male check, Over the age of 50 check, Obesity check, Type II Diabetes --- likely a check with all those cookies, Poor sleep habits check, and terrible snoring reported by Mrs. Clause! Also, have you or your children ever not found under the tree that one special gift you were hoping for because Santa must have forgotten that one this year brain fog, forgetfulness, and possible Alzheimer’s --- CHECK! So, the evidence is clear --- Santa Clause likely has sleep apnea Poor Fella! All I’m hoping for this holiday season is to give Santa some assistance to be healthier for many years to come. I think Jolly Ole St. Nick would be a lot jollier with an oral appliance to treat his sleep apnea! After all, there is nowhere to plug in a CPAP machine on his sleigh while making his trip around the world, but he can conveniently take my oral appliance with him on his travels! Santa please call my office (717) 761-0341 --- I can help you be healthier, increase your work productivity, and make sure Mrs. Clause is happy to sleep next to you when you get home from your big night out on the town! Happy Holidays One and All! From Dr. Fox and the Fox Dental Team
