Annual Congregational Meeting Sunday, February 7th @ 12:00pm following worship. We will have a potluck lunch bring a dish to share.

Yesterday I met with Claire’s oncologist to talk about next steps now that we are wrapping up this cycle. It’s long and complicated, but essentially there are 3... potential paths we could take depending on her biopsy results. All of these paths will pretty much require us to remain in Ohio for the next few months. Because Claire has both Down syndrome and is being treated on more intensive protocols we can’t be far from the hospital even when she isn’t actually admitted. I truly wasn’t expecting that to be the case, probably because most families I’ve talked with aren’t in this specific situation. I honestly don’t know what to do, but realize I can’t make any decisions until her biopsy anyway (tentatively 2/1). Covid has just made an impossibly difficult time in our lives SO much harder. We have to remain quarantined from friends and family, Ronald McDonald House isn’t allowing siblings, hospital playrooms are closed, the sibling center at the hospital is closed, no one can visit, the list goes on. Cancer is so isolating and my heart breaks for Claire who I know misses everyone so much. Today I’m asking for prayers for her to continue to do well and for us to stay strong

Annual Friends and Family Thanksgiving Dinner

Throughout the month of November the Willing Workers are collecting Hats, Gloves & Socks that will be given to South Side School District for those in need.
