We worship you, Almighty God, for there is no one like you. You have created all things and sustain life on this earth and are intimately acquainted with each one of us. You are the ultimate multi-tasker, listening to millions at the same time and yet perfectly focused on each one individually. It boggles our minds to think on these things, and yet this is no problem for you. How amazing that you care about individuals and families and communities and states and nations and...Continue reading

We will not be able to stream our service this morning because of technical issues. However, I have pre-recorded the sermon for this morning. We hope to have these issues resolved by next weekend. The story of David escaping from the assassins of Saul is not a familiar passage to many people. We most likely are not dealing with people who are trying to kill us, but we all face difficult circumstances that threaten our peace and security. If we can remember that God is o...ur fortress that he is our safe place of protection in the dangerous places in our lives then no matter what happens all around us will never be able to hurt us or hinder us from seeing God’s purposes be accomplished in our lives. Father, we come today with grateful hearts that you are truly a mighty fortress, our helper amid the flood of mortal ills prevailing. We have been and are going through some tough times in this life, and sometimes feel overwhelmed by these challenges. And so we pray that you might take us to a deeper level of trust in you. May we have eyes of faith to see that you are our fortress, our helper, our protector, and that you are faithful to keep that which we have committed unto you until that day you bring us home to live with you. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen. https://youtu.be/Uxs1rFvomi8
