THANK YOU AVONDALE STATE POLICE BARRACKS Franklin Township is extremely thankful for everything the Avondale State Police Barracks has done in helping to rectify the dangerous situation (broken tree) which was in danger of falling into the roadway near 1856 New London Road. The Avondale State Troopers are upright and resolute, and we are grateful for their service to our community.
Did you loose your keys? Did you loose your keys at the Franklin Township Office, in the vicinity of the recycling bins? If you call the office and can describe them, we will be happy to give them back to you. 610-255-5212
NATIONAL TEACHER APPRECIATION DAY May 4, 2021 Please remember to thank a teacher today. What wonderful role models they are to help shape our world. If you are an adult, take a moment and think of those teachers that changed your life when you were young.

Franklin Township would like to take this opportunity to thank our residents and the motoring public for reporting this tree in Verizon wires to our office. The location of this issue is approximately 120 feet south of Parsons Road in the northbound lane of Route 896 (New London Road). The Township has made multiple attempts to contact PENNDOT Maintenance for Chester County since this is a State Owned Road and Verizon since the tree is in their wires. We have even gone so ...far as to contact the Avondale State Police Barracks and they in turn have tried calling Verizon too. Franklin Township appreciates the hard work and extra effort of the Avondale State Police Barracks. We are very proud of our State Police. We would encourage our residents and the motoring public to contact PENNDOT Maintenance for Chester County at 1-484-340-3201 and Verizon at 1-800-379-0254 to express your concerns to them. Please forward this posting to your neighbors, friends and family.
November 11th is Veterans Day - a special day set aside to pay tribute to the brave men and women of the armed forces who put their lives at risk to ensure that the rest of us can enjoy the freedom we often take for granted. These include members of the US Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and the Coast Guard. We thank you for your service!
Watch out for responders at traffic incidents, our lives depend on it! #MoveOver
