Freedom Township 09.06.2021

The Logan Township Police Department - Blair County is seeking information for a fatal hit & run vehicle vs. pedestrian accident which occurred last night 4/29/...21 at approx. 11:00 pm on the 3300 blk. of Pleasant Valley Blvd. in front of the Olive Garden and Red Lobster. A white adult male in his 60s who was believed to be homeless, was struck by a vehicle in the northbound lane of traffic and ultimately died from his injuries. The deceased male did have a small dog with him at the time of the accident, which ran off. The Logan Township Police Department and PA State Police Reconstruction Unit are currently investigating this incident. Anyone who may have witnessed the accident or has any information at all, but have not spoken to police are asked to contact the Logan Township Police Department at 814-949-3364. Thank you

National Drug Take Back Day is October 24, 2020. We will be collecting your old, unused, or unwanted medications at the Martinsburg Police Department between th...e hours of 10 am and 2 pm. This is a great time to clean out the medicine cabinet and safely dispose of any unwanted medication so that it doesn't fall into the wrong hands. The Freedom Township Police Department is also participating and their collection site will be at the Walmart in East Freedom on the same date and time.
