Freedom Township Vol. Fire Company

12/02/2020 *Vehicle Fire Walmart* 10:19 am Stations 40 & 60 were dispatched for a Vehicle Fire at 200 Commerce Dr. Walmart. Assistant Chief 40 arrived on scene to semi trailer with light smoke conditions. Engine/Rescue 40 & Tanker 60 arrived and the process of hand unloading the fully loaded trailer began to find the source of the smoke. As crews continued to unload smoke conditions change and fire was then visible from towards the front of the trailer. Crews used saws to cut wholes in the side and roof to gain access to the fire. Additional crews from stations 20 and 70 were called to relieve crews from 40&60. Crews worked for approximately 3.5 hours to be sure all fire was extinguished. Thank you to all the mutual aid departments!!
