COVID-19 has challenged our theatre company tremendously, including our finances. Due to the challenges COVID-19 has presented us with, we have had no choice but to cancel our production of Mary Poppins. This has been an incredibly difficult decision, but I want to thank our principal, Mr. Mike LaPorta and Drs Roy and Silva for their constant support. This cancellation will have dramatic financial consequences for our theatre company. While just about two-three weeks away from our production when schools districts closed, all of our costumes and sets were... nearly finished, designs were completed and many people and contracts paid for their services. We kindly ask that you consider donating your ticket money back to the theatre company to offset these costs. We recognize this is a significant ask, and we wouldn’t be doing so if we didn’t think it was critical to the organization that we hold dear. We certainly respect that this may be a burden to many people, and assure you tickets can and will be refunded by contacting [email protected] If you have any questions, please contact [email protected] and a representative will be in touch. Considering the current circumstances, we thought we'd share a virtual performance of Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious featuring many from our cast of Mary Poppins to spread a little cheer. In the words of Mary Poppins, "Sometimes a little thing can be quite important." Enjoy!

The main purpose of a ghost light in theatres is to keep people safe in case they are wandering on the stage in the dark, but there is a legend that you must leave a light on to "keep the theatre ghosts happy" Today, the ghost light at Freedom signifies our resilience and hope that the lights never go out on our stage. Our production of Mary Poppins is postponed until a later date can be confirmed. Please note that ALL tickets will be transferred to the new dates. We will be in touch when the date has been solidified.
