Families participated in art, movement, and a cooking demo! We explored some of the ingredients that can be added to applesauce (safely, without tasting!) and every family got a takeaway applesauce kit to take with them! Welcome back to Exploring Music & Food! Today we'll be discussing Indian music, dance and making a delicious and easy Indian Red Lentil Dal recipe.

This fall, the Culinary Literacy Center partnered with Nationalities Service Center to offer an interactive virtual cooking demonstration series with weekly chefs from around the worldIndonesia, Nigeria, Syria, Brazil, and Mexico! Each week, a different chef will share their culinary talents and traditional dishes through cooking demonstrations. Follow along and prepare the dish to enjoy yourself! The first cooking lesson (for Indonesian Chicken Satay and Pecel with Irsa) will be released tomorrow, October 20th.
