Members of the Friends of Kings Gap....check your emails as we are giving you a few days advance notice on the annual Native Plant Sale. If your email is on file with us, you should have received a message this morning with a link to the list of inventory and instructions for ordering. For the rest of you...it's only $10 to join and get access to future benefits for Friends Members (we welcome ideas on what you would like to see as members but please remember - we can only d...o so much!). But even if you aren't a member (yet!), the plant sale will be open to the public next Wednesday. The order form and instructions will be on our website...where you can also sign up for a membership. Plant pick-up will take place on May 15 and the Kings Gap General Store will be having a Chicken BBQ to benefit FOKG that day as well. So plan an outing to the Mountain!

The Pine Plantation trail needed to be re-routed a bit due to down trees. Here's a very unofficial opening of the bypass.

Recent winds took down quite a few trees in Pine Plantation but volunteers opened things up today.

Weather looks good for a day on the Mountain this weekend. You must buy a $5 ticket for each person prior to arriving at the event.

Attention Yoga Participants A bike race is taking place on the Mountain on Sunday morning so the road to the top will be closed until sometime between 9:30 and 10am. Yoga will take place but there might be a short delay. Traffic will be stopped at the bottom until things are cleared to go so please be patient and plan accordingly. Thanks for your understanding!
