Friends of Trough Creek and Warriors Path State Parks

Several members spent their Friday evening assembling picnic tables for Trough Creek. The new wooden tables will take the place of metal ones which are currently under the CCC Era Pavilions. The group completed pavilion 4 with 4 wooden tables and will be replacing the tables at pavilion 2 at a later date. The group placed the 4 metal tables in the area near pavilion number 1 with one located by the volleyball court. Thank you to all members who were available to help.

***ATTENTION*** The Friends Group will be assembling picnic tables this Friday, April 23rd at 6:00 PM. We will be meeting at the old park office at Trough Creek State Park.

Several members from our friends group assisted the Friends of Raystown today to spruce up portions of the Terrace Mountain Trail from Tatman Run toward Trough Creek State Park. Great job everyone!

Our Friends Group will be helping The Friends of Raystown do some clean up work on the Terrace Mountain Trail this Saturday, April 17th. We will be meeting at the Tatman Run beach shelter at 8:00 AM. We will be working on the portion of the trail that goes back toward Trough Creek.

***REMINDER*** We will be having our April meeting on Thursday the 8th at 6:30 PM at Trough Creek, Pavilion 1. We've got lots to cover including our most recent "First Day of Trout Season" event!... Social distancing and State mandates apply. Hope to see you there!

As a reminder the dues are $15.00 per family and $10.00 individual. We will be practicing social distancing and wearing masks. Hope to see you there!

While Friends of Trough Creek and Warriors Path State Parks did not get to do their first day hike this year due to COVID-19 restrictions, we wish all our friends and supporters a safe and Happy New Year!
