Deep within a nebula cloud- Gas, and Dust coalesce and over millions of years a star is born. In the distance -we see photons of light from a newly born sun begin to escape and light up the nebula cloud that created it. See more

Regardless of what you think regarding Time Travel- we experience it more often than we believe. Here are two plain everyday examples. Daylight Savings Time- Twice each year Daylight savings time either moves us forward in time one hour or backwards in time one hour. On a much more frequent basis- your alarm goes off at 445 am you hit it and the next thing you know you awake at 955 am. Those mere seconds of turning the alarm off and awakening hours later verifies time travel ...does occur on earth... This recent piece- Wormhole Forming- was completed after reading about theoretical wormholes having the ability to bend spacetime so that it allows one to travel immense distances in a very short period of time.

I am looking forward to this Junes Cherry Springs Star Party hosted by the Harrisburg Astronomical Society to see many of my astronomy friends and patrons. Proxima Centauri Exoplanet. This exoplanet is found within the Proxima Centauri System which is the closet to our solar system and the smallest of the Alpha Centauri system. A mere 4 light years away within our limb of our Milky Way Galaxy the Proxima Centauri System, has two exoplanets Proxima b and c. This is my visual representation of Proxima b, which is a close match in size to our Earth and is within the habitable zone where water may exist.

Radiant Nebula- a nebula encounters what appears to be a rip in space that's emitting radiation. This piece is painted on a 9 x 12 canvas.

The beauty of our planet and space are captured in this photo from Guatemala. Although most of us will not see a volcano and the conjuntion of Jupiter and Saturn show in this photo directly above a tree in the southeast sky, many will be out look for the Christmas Star (as the conjunction is called) on Dec 21st after dusk.
