As we wait for route two of the storm to begin here is a fun activity to do with the kids....SNOW ICE CREAM!

Wishing everyone a good Shabbos! Here is a little peek inside some of our Tu Bishvat Seders. The children had so much fun preparing throughout the week and enjoying so much delicious fruits. Thank you parents for helping make our Seder special by bringing in fruits.

Monday's are always tough, but today the Morah's had a little more energy and huge smiles as they were served lunch from Zagafen. Big thanks to Eden and Calebs parents- Maayan and Rob Lattin for treating the Morah's to lunch. We so appreciate this very thoughtful gesture.

FALLING BACK A reminder for us all to set our clocks back 1 hour before you hit the hay. We are wishing that all our children give us the blessing of sleeping in and may all of you have black out shades because sunrise is at 6:34am, and do we dare say the sun will set at 4:58pm.

This weekend will definitely be a good time to make warm soup! The Torah class got a head start on soup season, and made Pumpkin Soup together as a class community.

There are so many ways to help your child make progress with their writing skills. A young 3 year old is using a chalk board, making lines and then erasing with a wet sponge. This skill helps reinforce that we start writing a letter at the top and helps with fine motor and eye-hand coordination.

Throughout the week our staff and student community has remembered our dear friend Lance by making cards for his family with well wishes and fond memories. We all remember Lance as he greeted us daily with a smile and high five, always lending an ear to anyone that needed to talk. Knowing his relationship with our Gan Chabad family has extended far beyond his hours at school, we want to honor him now and always. The children had fun learning all about the Seven Days of Creation this week. Each class integrated activities that the children could do during work time, and spent time being creative doing art projects that represented each day of creation.

Fall is all around us as the children work throughout the classroom.

The Mitzvah class welcomed a new member to their classroom family this week. Please say hello to "BOLT" -- he is a perfect addition, don't you think?

We can't wait to our Gan Chabad Montessori families today at our "Family Sukkot Experience" happening at 4pm. Bring your own picnic dinner....we have the rest covered. Games, Music, Bubble Show and more.
