Gannon Electrical Engineering Department

It’s a big week here at Gannon. We’re welcoming students into I-HACK for the first time to begin taking classes. Dr. Fong Mak from Electrical and Computer Engineering Department was featured in the picture with his students on the first day of class in I-HACK building.

Our Cyber Engineering student Austin Detzel (sophomore year) who designed IoT devices and is running his own IoT company.

Professor MacKellar, in collaborating with Erie Bayfront Maritime Center, is testing the underwater robot--BlueROV2 in the pool for the first time. This marks the start of a series of educational and research projects with underwater robots. This will lead Gannon's Intelligent Ground Vehicle team to enter the international competition in both ground and underwater category.
