Another check engine light created by varmints chewing on a couple wires. Nice quick easy fix and another happy customer.

We will be closed Good Friday to allow our employees to spend Good Friday with their families. We at Gary Schmidt’s Garage wish everybody a Happy Easter.

Remember last year at the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic when Governor Wolf extended March, April, and May safety and emissions inspections untill June? All of the people that waited until June had inspection stations scheduled weeks out. This year all those inspections will be due in the same month they received their inspections last year and will probably have to wait again to get their car inspected. Beat the rush. Currently you can get 4/21, 5/21, and 6/21 and maintain the same inspection month for next year.

So far this winter has not needed much salt on the roads but this car needed a new control arm due to rust issues.

We know what's on Dad's holiday list...
