Election Day is ONE WEEK from today. Make sure you have a voting plan! PA voters: today is the LAST day to request a mail-in or absentee ballot! If you are mailing in your ballot, it must be postmarked by 8pm on November 3rd and received by your county election office by 5pm on November 6th to be counted. If you are delivering your mail-in ballot in person, it must be received by your local county election office or other designated location by 8pm on November 3rd.

Today marks 155 years since federal orders were announced in Galveston, Texas which emancipated the last group of enslaved people in America. Today is a day to celebrate Black freedom, but also to recognize the steps that still must be taken in order to achieve full racial justice and equality.
