If you’re looking for an internship, check out these tips to help you! Here’s a deep dive on each one: #1: The ‘qualifications’ section of the internship description is important! Read it to make sure you are a fit. #2: While the Fortune 500 companies have finished their internship searches, most local businesses are likely still looking! Consider emailing a local business directly to see if they will take you on for a summer internship or project. #3: Don’t send the same re...sume to every job- customize it to the internship! Highlight the most relevant projects, jobs, and extracurriculars. #4: Record yourself practicing interview answers. It will help you catch any bad habitslike saying um or like too much! #5: Always send a thank-you note after an interview! Reiterate your interest in the role and thank the company for their time.
