*ACCIDENT WITH CONFINEMENT* This afternoon at 12:42 hours, Rescue 30, Chief 30, Brush 30, and Engine/Rescue 90 responded to route 22 and juniata valley/turkey valley road intersection for a two vehicle accident with reports of injuries and one occupant confined in the vehicle. Crews arrived simultaneously and paired to both vehicles to start extricating the drivers. The driver side door had to be removed from the SUV so we could remove the victim without causing anymore injury. Both drivers of each vehicle was transported by EMS to be treated.

Not many of us here now that did that. Most are retired.

*ESSENTIALS FIREFIGHTER * A special congratulations to one of our newer members Korrina Himes. Over the weekend she completed her first structure burn which is the last step before completing the essentials course. We always push our members to train and keep building their knowledge and techniques to become better firefighters not just for themselves, but for the community that they serve. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!
