Gem City Gun Club

In light of the Covid-19 pandemic the Club has canceled the Junior Rifle Program, and the AM and PM squads for the Thursday open indoor range, for the remainder of the season. The April Practical Pistol match has been canceled. The Gun Show, originally scheduled for April 11th, has been postponed to a yet to be determined date in the fall. If you have paid for a vendor table you will be contacted separately to discuss options. The drawing for the M1 Garand will take place at ...the rescheduled Gun Show. If you are interested in getting you Garand ticket contact a Board member. At this time all of the outdoor ranges are open and available to our members. We strongly encourage maintaining a safe distance between you and anyone else on the range, or move to another range. If you are sick or not feeling well stay home and rest. As any more decisions or information becomes available we will let you know.

The February 15th NRA basic pistol class is full. Thank you again for the support of this classes. We will discuss scheduling another class at our March Board meeting. We will post here with the outcome. If you or anyone you know is interested in taking a basic pistol course please message us.

Our January 25th NRA Basic Handgun class is full. THANK YOU for the overwhelming response! We scheduled another Basic Handgun Training class for February 15th. It too is filling up fast. If you are interested we recommend you register sooner than later. More information is available bellow.

Our Junior rifle season starts Monday January 6th. The registration form is available on our website. New shooters must take the FIRST steps course before going on the range. Registration for the FIRST steps course will be on the 6th with the class being held on the 13th and 20th (two hours each day).
