Gentry Sport Horses had a fantastic weekend at Fair Hill Starter Horse Trials! We had 6 students, some of which were brand new to eventing, all gallop through the finish flags! It is so exciting to have clients new to the sport experience the rush of XC for the first time. They've been working very hard and I couldn't be more proud to see them all complete their courses. Congratulations to Alicia Jonsdottir and Cullinaghmor Pepper for winning their Novice Division! Congratul...ations to Mackenzie Mann and Been There Dun That for having the best round I've seen yet! Almost in the top spot, but had a rail in show jumping. We'll get em' next time! :) Congratulations to Karen D'Lauro and her new horse Diamond Striker for completing their first horse trials together and landing in 4th place! Congratulations to Anna Blom and Crescendo for their 4th place finish in the Intro Rider division and finishing on their dressage score! Congratulations to Michaela Kowatch and Arabella's Treasure (owned by Kait Brennan) for completing her first horse trials ever! They were first after dressage and show jumping, which is a huge accomplishment! Congratulations to Ashley Guerrero and Gentry Go For Gold for completing her first horse trials as well! They were third after dressage, which was something they've been working on very hard the last couple of months. Great job everyone! Thank you to Alyssa for being our shuttle bus all day! Thanks to Adam for bringing our tailgate goodies and thanks to Karen's parents for coming to cheer her on! Gentry Sport Horses is excited to host Michael and Trish Ryan of the Irish Olympic Eventing team for another exciting clinic June 16-18 2021. Come join us for a few days of training and some fun from some of the best Olympians in the world! Michael and Trish are welcoming to all levels of riders from Tadpole to Advanced. Those that know them will feel an instant connection and comfort level with their confidence boosting teaching style. Both dressage and jumping lessons will ...be offered! June 16th: Dressage with Trish Ryan June 17th: Jumping with Michael Ryan June 18th: Jumping with Michael Ryan Registration: $315 for both jumping days; $160 for a single day. Private Dressage lessons will be available Wednesday June 16th for $165 Auditors $20/day Stabling available. If you’re interested in joining us please send an email to [email protected] for an entry form! Clinic will be filled only by entries who have sent payment and completed entry forms with coggins. Preference given to those riding on all three days, as space will be limited. No refunds unless spot can be filled from waitlist.

Reminder to our lesson students that tack should be properly wiped down or cleaned if needed after each lesson. We are getting to the warmer months where horses are sweating and tack needs extra attention! We will be checking equipment regularly and can spend extra time during your next lesson showing you how to care for your school tack if found that is required. Proper horsemanship! Thank you! Thank you Louise Ashman Atkins for coming over to pulse my pretty bay boys with PEMF! Crafty was a bit bossy as he usually is for these types of things. He tells her what to do and how to do it! And Crescendo who is normally grouchy for everything on the ground was an ABSOLUTE love bug! I really enjoyed watching him get some work done to help his body feel better, younger and fitter! Holly Berry- 2014 15.2hh OTTB mare. Excellent junior/small adult mount that would really love a job as a show hunter! She jumps 3ft+ clean, hacks out alone or in a group and is schooling a nice lead change. She has evented and is the same at horse shows as she is at home, stands on the trailer all day and is generally just an easy horse to have in the barn. Zero vices or soundness issues.
