SPLASH meeting this Thursday at the pool, 6:30. You don’t have to join our group, or work all of our fundraisers, or go to all of our meetings, but we need your help. The pool is in desperate need to fundraise. We can no longer do it on our own. Especially in these COVID times. Please join us and help us to raise enough money to open the pool each year. Without your help, the pool will close. If you belong to another group, could you offer one fundraiser this year for the pool? Can you give us ideas? This past year was not a good financial year for the pool. We can’t repeat it again. If our community wants a pool, then everyone needs to join in. Please help us.

What a blast today was at the Dog Swim. Over 30 dogs went swimming! It was such a joy to watch. Thank you everyone for coming out. The pool is closed for the season. See you next year!

WE'RE BACK!! POOL OPENS FOR THE 2020 SEASON TOMORROW, FRIDAY JULY 3RD FROM 12 TO 6! Daily admission is $5 ... Season individual pass is $80 Season family pass is $155 We are asking that all patrons wear a mask when you are entering and moving around the site except when in the water or at your towel and 6ft from other patrons. We are doing our best to keep everyone safe and comply with new regulations we've been given while still providing summer fun! Please direct all questions either to our messages on this page, or to the pool at 814-938-4620 as comments can become difficult to reply to. We will do our best to answer, but we ask that you remain patient with us! We can't wait to see you!!!

We've received many messages regarding our opening date, while that has not been finalized yet, we have finalized our rules for this season in regards to COVID-19. The rules below will be strictly enforced for the 2020 season, as well as all of our previous rules. These have been taken directly from the information provided to us from the Department of Health and are being put into effect for the safety of our patrons and staff. ... We thank you for your continued patience and understanding. COVID-19 SAFETY RULES AND GUIDELINES - WASH HANDS OFTEN - COVER FACE WHEN YOU COUGH OR SNEEZE - FACE COVERINGS ARE REQUIRED TO ENTER - STAY HOME IF YOU’RE NOT FEELING WELL OR HAVE BEEN EXPOSED TO COVID-19 - ALL TOWELS AND FURNITURE MUST BE TAKEN HOME DAILY - NO TOYS OR FLOATIES ONLY THE NOODLES PROVIDED MAY BE USED - PLACE YOUR CHAIRS AND TOWELS 6 FEET FROM YOUR NEIGHBORS - STAY 6 FEET FROM PERSON IN FRONT OF YOU AT THE CONCESSION STAND - DO NOT SHARE GOGGLES, NOSE CLIPS, ETC. - TURN POOL NOODLES INTO POOL STAFF FOR CLEANING - NOTIFY POOL STAFF POINT OF CONTACT IF YOU’VE BEEN EXPOSED OR HAVE TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID-19. While we are waiting on the drain cable to be replaced/repaired, we have a bit more time to finish some basic cleaning and painting. Still need the deck painted where it was patched. THIS COULD BE YOU!!!! Looking for a fun summer job? We are now hiring for summer 2020! ... Our season will run from June 6th to August 23rd. We are looking for certified lifeguards, pool managers, and concession stand staff. All candidates must have Act 34 and Act 151 clearances. All interested candidates should submit their resumes to SPLASH, care of the Punxsutawney Borough, 301 E Mahoning Street, no later than April 15th!

While we realize today would have been our normal opening day, due to covid-19 and other extenuating circumstances, we had to push our target opening date back to June 13th for the 2020 season. Remember the good old days when you went to the carnival and tossed coins to win glassware? I loved the Pepsi and Coke goblets! SPLASH will be having an old fashioned coin toss during the Festival in the Park July 2020. We are looking for glass ware, plates, bowls, etc. If you have any to donate, any leftover from your garage sale, we will take it off your hands.
