In Loving Memory Of Shirley Lorraine Roush Middleburg, PA... Shirley Lorraine (Mitchell) Roush, 84, of Middleburg, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 1, 2021, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. She was born on January 22, 1937, a daughter of the late Walter H. and Elsie M. (Kratzer) Mitchell, Sr. On April 6, 1956, she married the love of her life, Donald L. Roush. They were married for over 64 years. Shirley was a 1956 graduate of Middleburg Joint High School. She was a remarkable homemaker. Her greatest joy in life was cooking for her entire family every other Sunday, and cooking for her grandchildren every Wednesday evening. She crocheted a lot of blankets and gave them to family at Christmas. They became known as mammy blankets. She is survived by her loving husband; two sons Scott Roush and his wife Miriam and Keith Roush and his wife Diane all of Middleburg; granddaughter Sara Goodling; step-grandson Justin Lamey; great-grandson Trey Klinger; great-granddaughter Calianne Goodling; step-great-granddaughter Leah Lamey; brother-in-law Robert Roush; sister-in-law Fleta Arnold; a special niece and a nephew who she considered to be like a brother and sister Stanford Mitchell and Rachel Kline; and numerous nieces and nephews. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law Elmer L. and Dorothy M. (Sheaffer) Roush; brothers Walter Mitchell, Jr. and his wife Pauline, Lawson Mitchell and his wife Anna; sisters Margaret Bowersox and her husband Stoy and Lois Haines and her husband Howard; brothers-in-law Palmer Roush and his wife Mabel, Harold Arnold, and Elmer Roush, Jr.; and Betty Roush. Burial will be private at a later date. He was born on August 31, 1941 in East Salem, PA, a son of the late Lester L. and Marie M. (Naylor) Graybill. Clarence enjoyed working with his dad in the garage and on their farm. He is survived by two sisters Alice Mae Fultz and Faye I. Miller and a brother Larry W. Graybill and his wife Darlene L. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents; brothers LeRoy L. In Loving Memory Of Elwood L. Kratzer, I Richfield, PA... Elwood L. (Skip) Kratzer, I, 90, of Richfield, entered peacefully at his home into the loving arms of his Lord and Saviour surrounded by his family on Saturday, March 27, 2021. He was born on July 15, 1930, a son of the late Charles M. and Edna (Lauver) Kratzer. On November 5, 1949, he married his beautiful bride, Kaye M. (House) Kratzer. They recently celebrated 71 years of marriage. Skip was a graduate of Freeburg High School. He began his career as a long-haul truck driver, initially for Motor Cargo. He enjoyed a career as a self-employed barber after driving truck. Skip retired from the Kratzer Insurance Agency in Mt. Pleasant Mills where he was the founder and owner. He was a member of the Richfield United Methodist Church. He served as Past Worshipful Master of Middleburg Lodge No. 619, F.&A.M., and was a member of the Harrisburg Consistory, The Tall Cedars of Lebanon, and The Shriners. Skip’s greatest joy was spending precious time with his family. He enjoyed the winters he and Kaye spent in Florida, and he also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing. In addition to his loving wife Kaye, Skip is survived by his children, Debbie Reigle and her husband Joseph, Jr. of Middleburg, Pam Edelman and her husband David of Middleburg, and Elwood L. Skip Kratzer, II and his wife Jennifer of Lewisburg; eleven grandchildren, Michelle Gumiran and her husband Robert, Amanda Adams and her husband Jeremy, Heath Edelman and his wife Anna, Alesia Edelman and her husband Dennis Yonkin, Marissa Miles and her husband Andrew, Travis Teates and his wife Amber, Madison Kratzer, Zachary Kratzer, Mackenzie Moore, Logan Moore, and Reese Moore; and ten great-grandchildren, Jaiden Gumiran, Sidney Gumiran, Samantha Gumiran, Carter Adams, Ali Adams, Nicholas Edelman, Emily Edelman, Lily Miles, Mikayla Teates and Everett Teates. Skip was the last of his immediate family. In addition to his parents, Skip was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Teates, who passed away on June 4, 1999; one sister, Geraldine Goodling; and five brothers, Ernest Kratzer, Earl Kratzer, Sr., Harold Kratzer, Norman Kratzer, and Clarence Kratzer. In Loving Memory Of Mary C. Moyer Freeburg, PA... Mary C. Moyer, 89 of Freeburg, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 18, 2021, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. She was born on February 16, 1932 in Aline, Snyder County, PA, a daughter of the late Roslyn and Daisy (Witmer) Hackenburg. Early in life, Mary married her husband Joseph Moyer, Jr. who preceded her in death on January 26, 1985. Mary enjoyed life being a loving mother and homemaker. She was a member of St. Peters Evangelical Church and attended Freeburg United Methodist Church. She was also a life member of Freeburg Fire Company Ladies Auxillary. Her favorite hobbies were gardening, cooking, and baking. She is survived by two daughters, Shirley A. Moyer at home and Betty C. Groff and her husband Kenneth of Leola, PA; a granddaughter, Wendy Groff who was the apple of Mary’s eye; numerous nieces and nephews; and Jill Moyer and Ryan Kissinger whom Mary loved as her own children, having spent many times babysitting them. In addition to her parents and husband, Mary is preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Charles Hackenburg and his wife Martha, George Hackenburg and his wife Edith, Franklin Hackenburg and his wife Shirley, and a brother in infancy. In Loving Memory Of Miriam P. Nipple Liverpool, PA... Miriam P. Mim (Garman) Nipple, 100 of Liverpool, entered into eternal rest on her 100th Birthday, Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at Stonebridge Health and Rehabilitation in Duncannon. Her legacy is a century of grace, beauty, and love. Mim was born on February 17, 1921 in Juniata County, PA. She was the daughter of the late Clarence and Eva (VanHorn) Garman. Early in life, she married her loving sweetheart, Lloyd E. Nipple, who preceded her in death on February 8, 2015. She attended school in Richfield and was a high school graduate. Mim and Lloyd proudly owned and operated the Nipple Convalescent Home in Liverpool for over 20 years where she served as the Certified Food Service Supervisor. Mim was a woman of strong faith with membership in the Liverpool United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, and the Susquehanna Sweethearts Red Hat Society. Affectionately known as Mimmy, her greatest joy was time spent creating memories with family and friends. Mim is survived by a son, Delbert Nipple and his wife Judy of Liverpool; a daughter, Carol Cherry and her husband Steve of Berwyn, PA; grandchildren, Joy Kinley and her husband Ken of Cogan Station, PA, Aaron Cherry and his wife Shannan O’Neill of Downingtown, PA; and Kent Cherry of Westminster, CO; granddaughter-in-law, Beth Nipple of Liverpool; great grandchildren, Cameron Nipple of Liverpool, and Jordan and Hailey Kinley both of Cogan Station, PA, and Lucas and Natalie Cherry of Downingtown, PA; two brothers, Lawrence Garman and his wife Eunice, and Ernest Garman; and a sister, Lorraine Spade. In Loving Memory Of Kenneth Eugene Linn Oriental, PA... Kenneth Eugene Linn, 80 of Oriental, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at the UPMC Harrisburg Hospital in Harrisburg, PA. He was born on June 15, 1940 in Liverpool, a son of the late Charles Albert and Virginia (Criley) Linn. On June 15, 1968, he married his beautiful bride, Eileen A. (Delbaugh) Linn. Kenneth is survived by his lovely bride Eileen; a son Jeffrey C. Linn and his wife Tina of Oriental; a daughter-in-law Kori Linn of Donnally Mills; grandchildren Dakota Linn and his wife Alicia of Duncannon; Mariah Linn of Oriental; David Linn of Oriental, Brittni Linn of Lebanon, Catelyn Graham and her husband Ian of Shermans Dale, and Ryan McVitty of Donnally Mills; four great-grandchildren; and a brother Charles Richard Dick Linn of Newport. Kenneth was a 1958 graduate of Greenwood High School. On September 17, 1963, he enlisted with the United States Army. He was honorably discharged on March 16, 1965. He retired as a maintenance worker for Liverpool Borough. He was a member of the Lions Club in Liverpool, Liverpool American Legion Post #364, the United Methodist Church, and played on a bowling league. Kenneth loved spending time with his precious great-grandchildren, Bella and Max. The time he shared with them was his greatest joy. He enjoyed hunting. He also enjoyed watching baseball, NASCAR racing, and football, especially Penn State. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son Kenneth D. Linn in 2018; three sisters Geneva Tenny, Thelma Zaring, and a sister in infancy; and a brother Marlin (Short) Linn. There will be no services at this time. The George P. Pleasant Mills, entered into rest on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 20, 1942 in Richfield, a son of the late Ernest A. and M. Alverna (Watt) Feltman. On January 27, 1962, he married his beautiful bride Grace (Snyder) Feltman. He retired with 39 years of service as a master mechanic from Hempt Brothers, Inc. in Camp Hill. Raymond was a member of United Steel Workers Union Local #15523, and a member of St. Peters Community Church in Millerstown. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching NASCAR. Raymond is survived by his beautiful bride; a daughter Joy Inch and her companion Jeffery Goodling of Mt. Pleasant Mills; two grandchildren Franklin I. Inch of Liverpool and Christina Stroup and her husband Kent of Richfield; six great-grandchildren Logan, Christian, Jacob, and Grant Inch, and twins Kently and Kolby Stroup; one brother George Feltman and his wife Barbara of Richfield; one sister Katie Knouse of Liverpool; and a sister-in-law Edna Feltman of Mifflintown. She was born in Liverpool on December 16, 1928 to the late Albert S. and Esther Lower Miller. She was married to Thomas Fred Leach who predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her daughter Rebecca Leach Hipple; son-in-law Ted Hipple; sisters Sarah Reinard, Dorothy Leach, Geraldine Lower, Marilyn Schrader, and Nancy Willard; and brothers John Miller, Fred Miller, Ronald Miller, Gerald Miller, Charles Barry Miller, and Lewis Miller. She is survived by the following family members: grandson Thomas Hipple of Enhaut; brothers Richard and Dennis Miller of Liverpool; sisters-in-laws Frances Miller, Jenny Miller, Ruth Miller, and Carsanna Buckley; other daughter Susan Hipple; and many nieces and nephews. He was born on January 7, 1939 in Juniata County, a son of the late J. Luther and Helen (Shellenberger) Buckley. He married his beautiful bride Lois (Derr) Buckley who preceded him in death. He retired as a mechanic from H. F. Campbell and Sons Trucking in Millerstown. Robert and Lois attended Liverpool Baptist Church. His greatest joys in life were precious times with his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed hunting and antique tractor pulls and shows. Robert is survived by his four children Dale R. Buckley, Sr. and his wife Donna of Millerstown, Nicola Devine of Killeen, Texas, Randall L. Buckley of Duncannon, and Matthew E. Buckley and his wife Gina of Millerstown; eight grandchildren Dale R. Buckley, Jr. and his wife Tara, Daniel L. Buckley and his wife Chanda, Raven Carreira, Michael Devine, Ryan M. In Loving Memory Of John "Marvin" Landis Liverpool, PA... John Marvin Landis, of Liverpool, PA went Home to be with his Lord on January 8, 2021. He was born on December 15, 1943 in Manheim Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania to the late John B. and Kathryn (Heller) Landis. He was the husband of (Elizabeth) Betty Ann (Burkholder) Landis whom he married on August 14, 1965. He was an active member of the Millmont Mennonite Church, Millmont, PA. He enjoyed teaching Sunday school. He loved children and was known as the candy man. His children and grandchildren were his delight. Marvin was a self-employed farmer in Perry County since 1965. He is survived by six children: Betty Joy (Dale) Stoltzfus, Wilkes-Barre, PA; Melanie D. (Mark) Peachy, Middleburg; Jonathan M. (Angelica) Landis, San Diego, CA; David L. Liverpool, Gloria J. (Jason) Croutch, Lewisburg; and Karen R. (Philip) Martin, Bethel, PA. 16 grandchildren: Ben, Konrad, Betsy Kara Stoltzfus, Andrea, Janelle, Kendra, Trent, Kaylyn Peachy, Elizabeth and Israel Martinez, Jonathan Landis II, Cody (Shaila) Croutch, Jessenia, Jace and Ravi Croutch. In Loving Memory Of Phyllis I. Earnest Liverpool, PA... Phyllis I. Earnest, 83 of Liverpool, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at the Kinkora Nursing Home. She was born on June 16, 1937 in Mount Pleasant Mills, Snyder County, and was married to Max E. Earnest of Liverpool until his passing on May 3, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Howard and Esther (Clotfelter) Reichenbach. Her greatest joy was her love of her Lord, her family, and friends. She always had a way of making people feel good about themselves. Some of her many talents included being an excellent seamstress, a phenomenal decorator, and her eye for fashion. She was employed by the Eileen Hope Sewing Factory in Liverpool where she developed many long-lasting friendships. Later in her career she became an entrepreneur and owned and managed the beautiful Heart at Home Gift Shop in Liverpool. She always made her customers feel like family. Phyllis was also known for her yodeling, and she loved wearing hats no matter what the occasion. Phyllis was a member of The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Liverpool. Phyllis is survived by her two loving daughters Holly K. Kramer and her husband Lee of Harrisburg and Kelly E. Lesh and her husband Darin of Liverpool; five grandchildren Jason(Shelley)Strawser, Jaclyn(Ben)Williams, Ann Marie Kramer, Trent Lesh, and Grant Lesh; six great-grandchildren Kelsey, Brendan, and Morgan Strawser and Maya, Kayden, and Annabella Williams; three brothers Wilbur Jimmy Reichenbach, Robert (Rosalie) Reichenbach, and Ronald(Janice) Reichenbach and sister Virginia Freed, and many nieces and nephews. On January 4, 1958, he married his beautiful bride Jeanne (Ramer) Cluck. They were married two days shy of 63 years. He was a 1956 graduate of East Juniata High School. Robert retired in 1988 as a psychiatric aide from the Harrisburg State Hospital. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, playing cards, and doing puzzle books. Robert was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies since 1950, as well as the Philadelphia Eagles. Robert is survived by his loving wife, their children Virginia Miller and her husband Miles of McAlisterville, Ricky L. Cluck and his wife Vickie of McAlisterville, Vickie Bickhart and her husband Roy of Phoenixville, Brenda Cluck of McAlisterville, Kenneth L. Cluck and his wife Carol of Mt. Pleasant Mills, Robert R. Cluck, Jr. and his wife Lorie Ann of McAlisterville, and Susan Santarsiero at home; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; a sister Shirley Punter of Camp Hill; sisters-in-laws Catherine Cluck of Richfield, and Angela Cluck of Richfield; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers John Cluck, Sr., Carson Cluck, Sr., and Albert Cluck, Sr. Services will be held at a later date at the discretion of the family. Richard E. Zimmerman, Sr. Penns Creek, PA Richard E. Zimmerman, Sr., 74 of Penns Creek entered into rest on Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at his home. He was born on July 4, 1946 in Hartley Township to the late Clarence Oliver Sr. and Doris Jean (Allenman) Zimmerman. On April 30, 1966, he married Erma (Hile).... He was retired as a truck driver from S&H Express. Richard was a member of the Selinsgrove Moose Lodge No. 1173 and the Middleburg Moose No. 1229. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. Richard is survived by his children Tina (Chad) Sprenkel, Loretta Zimmerman (Brock Gerhart), Richard Zimmerman Jr., Harvey Zimmerman, Michael Zimmerman (Crystal), and Brian Zimmerman; eight grandchildren Tyler Martin, Cody Zimmerman, Sabrina Keifer, Lindsey Sprenkel, Amanda Sprenkel, Andrea Sprenkel, Mason Harvey, and Ava Gerhart; two great-grandchildren Dominic Gomez and McKenzie Martin; two brothers John (LuAnn) Zimmerman and Dave Zimmerman (Pat Bingaman); two sisters April (Lenny) Wagner and Susie (Frank) Roadarmel; and several nieces and nephews. In Loving Memory Of Nora May Fry Selinsgrove, PA... Nora May Fry, 97 entered into rest on Friday, December 18, 2020 at The Manor at Penn Village in Selinsgrove, PA. She was born on April 4, 1923 in Upper Augusta Township, Northumberland County, to the late William and Ida (Goodling) Hockenbrough. On November 2, 1940, Nora married her dear husband, Chester L. Pat Fry who passed away on September 25, 1965. She was retired from Saylor’s Market in Beaver Springs where she was a cashier. Nora was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Ladies Auxillary in Middleburg, and the American Legion in New Berlin. She enjoyed going to yard sales, loved to dance especially polka’s, crocheting, and doing crossword puzzles. Nora is survived by her two sons Michael Allan Fry and his wife Tina Marie of Gettysburg and Barry Lee Fry and his wife Diane of Middleburg; ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Nora is preceded in death by a daughter Barbara Kay (Fry) Herbster who passed away in 2005; a son Richard Leroy Fry who passed away on March 6, 1969; and five brothers Paul Hockenbrough and his wife Lydia, Howard Hockenbrough, Samuel Hockenbrough and his wife Gladys, Raymond Hockenbrough, and Newton Hockenbrough and his wife Manerva. In Loving Memory Of Grace I. Gusler Port Trevorton... Grace I. Gusler, 73, of Port Trevorton caught a flight home on the wings of an angel to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, November 20, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. She was born at home on October 3, 1947, in Chapman Township, PA. A daughter of the late William and Matilda (Lindsay) Herrold. On October 9, 2000, she married her soulmate, Keith C. Gusler, who survives. Grace enjoyed cooking, always without a recipe. She loved family meals, and always made sure no one left hungry. She also enjoyed canning, gardening, reading, shopping, and sitting on the front porch with her dogs, Morgan and Tilly Mae. Grace enjoyed her yearly beach trips with her family, and she loved Christmas. Nothing made her happier than being with her family. She spent much of her life caring for everyone and would have it any other way. She loved her family fiercely, and was so proud of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Grace had a heart of gold and was one of the most loving women you would ever have the pleasure of getting to know. She leaves behind her five loving children David Gehers and his wife Martha, Wayne Gehers and his significant other Shelli, Tena Thomson and her husband Michael, Kelly Gehers, Terry Gehers and his wife Jane; step-daughter Kelly Priest and her husband Wesley; grandchildren who miss her dearly Sarah Maneval and her husband Jeremy, Michael Thomson and his wife Amanda, Katrina Nissley and her husband David, Matthew Gehers and his wife Samantha, Michelle Neidig and her husband Nathan, Jeremy Gehers, Chad Auman, Brad Auman, Will Savidge, and Elizabeth, Nicholas and Matthew Walborn; great-grandchildren who she adored Brayden, Madison, Mason, and Jacob Maneval, Abby and Haley Thomson, Jillian, Levi and Savannah Gehers, Nataline Neidig, Logan, Kinsey, and Cayden Auman, Brielle Auman, Stella Walborn; brothers William Herrold, Jr, Kenneth Herrold and his wife Georgetta, Gene Herrold, Richard Herrold and his wife Kathy; and a sister June and her husband Samuel Miller; along with many other loved ones. In Loving Memory Of Eudalia Heintzelman Liverpool, PA... Eudalia Ricki Heintzelman, 92 of Liverpool, entered into rest on Thursday, December 31, 2020, at Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg. She was born on May 13, 1928 in Juniata County, and she was the daughter of the late Howard and Esther (Clotfelter) Reichenbach. Early in life, Eudalia married her loving husband, Reno I. Heintzelman whom passed away on January 24, 1993. She retired as a cook from the Pepper Tree Restaurant in Selinsgrove. Eudalia was a member of Zion (Halls) Lutheran Church in Port Trevorton. Her hobbies included cooking, baking, and was known for being a tidy housekeeper. Eudalia is survived by her daughter Connie L. Heintzelman of Liverpool; six grand god children and their children Angela Young of Mount Pleasant mills and her children Logan Spriggle, Andrew Young, and Theresa Young, and Brandy Spriggle and her daughter Tori Broadwater; brothers Wilbur Jimmy Reichenbach, Robert Reichenbach and his wife Rosalie, and Ronald Reichenbach and his wife Janice; two sisters Virginia Freed and Phyllis Earnest; a half brother Jimmy Condo; a sister-in-law Joan Clotfelter; and a brother-in-law Donald Moyer. She was preceded in death by her loving husband; her parents; a sister Naomi Moyer; a brother Larry Clotfelter; a brother in infancy; a sister-in-law Germaine Reichenbach; and a brother-in-law Max Earnest. In Loving Memory of Shirley L. Bailor Newport, PA... Shirley L. Bailor, 84, of Newport, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, November 16, 2020, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving daughters. Born on July 24, 1936, in Saville Township, Eshcol, PA, she is a daughter of the late Ralph and Hattie (Fawver) McNaughton. Shirley graduated from Perry Joint High School in 1954. She was employed as a secretary at Green Park Elementary School, and was a member of Mt. Olivet Church of the Brethren. Shirley treasured the time she spent with her family and reading the Word of God. Two of her favorite hobbies were working in her flower bed, and watching the Phillies play baseball. Surviving are three daughters, Judy Zeiders and her husband Ron of Newport, Trudy Rudy and her husband David of Carlisle Springs, Sue Wilson and her husband Wayne of Newport; grandchildren, Bradley W. Eslinger II and his wife Julie, Jaime Gordon and her husband Brad, Beth Puchalo and her husband Eric, Lori Hughes and her husband Anthony, Josh Wilson, Colby Schreiber and his wife Kaitlin, and Kaili Adams and her husband Josh; step-grandchildren, Ethan Rudy and Tyler Rudy and his wife Shannon; eleven great-grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Bailor in 1981. She was also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Nora Ricedorf Mitchell, John McNaughton, Minnie Turnbaugh, Lottie Wilson, Tamar Wilfong, and Ralph McNaughton.
