A few hours inside the biggest open air narcotic market in the country ... This was my first trip to the ave. I don't know where to start (I guess with Im not s...pell checking this lol) almost everyone that has the internet has seen photos and videos of Kensington which is known as the biggest open air market for narcotics... the dope has now switched to fentynal as the drug of choice because of the lower cost for the addicts as compared to heroin... I being one who has seen all the photos and videos... numerous times.. but no matter the number of times you see it on your screen will NOT prepare you for the actuality of this epidemic... Yesterday I visited a third world country.. 40 minutes from my house... * Isaw a woman smoking crack... * I listened to an older man cry.. telling me how hard it is.. he was on his way to pick up a "bag" before church.. I begged him to not overdo it.. he said he never does more than a bag * I watched as a 9 month pregnant girl stood in a parking lot swaying with an open abscess on her arm .. * I watched a forgettable number of people shooting into their arms * real life zomies * I saw children ALL ages step over addicts shooting and passed out on the sidewalks * I saw stores clerks washing bodily fluids off the sidewalks in front of their business... * I saw on the upwards of HUDREDS of syringes on the ground... * I saw human feces sprayed onto the walls and piles on the sidewalks * I saw white, black, Hispanic and Asian zombies * I heard screams and moans, but you cant tell where it comes from because its all around you.. * I saw heartache * I saw tears * I saw pain * I saw fear I saw something that needs immediate attention!!!!!!!!!!! we handed out cold waters and Narcan spray but most importantly, we gave our compassion and an ear to talk to... we got thanked by most all the people that were coherent enough to hold conversation I have a good amount of photos to go through .. please be patient as im learning a new editing software etc..
