Money Smart Week is a nationwide educational event celebrated each April that focuses on increasing financial literacy among all ages. It was started by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago in 2002 to coordinate financial literacy efforts in the Chicago area, but has since become a national program. Mark your calendar to visit our traveling exhibit coming in March! German-Masontown Public Library will be hosting an exhibit children's book illustrations that offers a look into the cultural, historical, and social aspects of the African-American experience as well as highlight African-American authors and illustrators in children's literature. The exhibition is organized by the Miami University Art Museum through a grant from the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation.... Funding has been provided by the Pennsylvania Humanities Council and the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) as part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act of 2020. #germanmasontownpubliclibrary #PHC #tellingapeoplesstory
