Total Refinishing of Hardwood Floors. Strip and Remove all Wax and Old Stain. Make any repairs then sand floor. Use an 80 grit paper to finish removing stain/wax and then use a 400 grit paper to smooth it out. Apply 2 coats of Special Walnut Stain with a light sanding in between coats. Apply 2 coats of an Oil Based Polyurethane with a light sanding in between coats. Apply a third and final coat of Polyurethane then use a Buffer to give it that Final Shine!
