October is National Pitbull Awareness Month. All of of followers are very familiar with our beloved Nimbus Bolt. Nim was dumped on the streets and picked up by the police. He was going to be euthanized simply because he was just another pitbull that no one wanted. The world came so close to being denied the gift of this incredible soul. I have been blessed to know many dogs in my life and none can hold a candle to Nim. There is some inexplicable purity in him. He is the onl...y soul, human or animal that I have trusted implicitly with every fiber of my being. When I say I would sell my soul for him, I mean it in the most literal sense. He was with us for 9 months and the day of his first meet and greet with his new dad, shattered me and Nim knew it. I could’t allow that to deny him his happily ever after that he so truly deserved.
