Our reopening has been such a success and we are feeling extremely thankful for this community! We will be closed tomorrow to spend time with family for the holiday and reopen as usual on Tuesday, July 7th. Enjoy your long weekend, everyone!

We first would like to express our gratitude for customers that have been continuing to support not only us, but small businesses in these trying times. We have tried to adapt to by using 3rd party delivery services, to keep up with the growth in deliveries. However in doing so, these companies have seen the current demand for it and have tried to take advantage of small businesses and the demand they currently require. Doordash in particular, one of our largest platforms, h...as been doing so in a fashion that does not coincide with our company’s core beliefs of honesty and loyalty towards our customers. Doordash has increased their commissions fees without authorization to 30% per order, is now charging an advertising fee to merchants on top of their commissions fee, and on a weekly basis charging merchants for error fees without any representation. We as a company do not condone this kind of behavior and are now choosing to disassociate ourselves with this company. You can still find us on other 3rd party delivery sites, we also provide in house delivery. For customers that are using their platform, we understand you are trying to help small businesses by ordering, and we thank you endlessly. But please understand that this is what is happening to small businesses by using their app. If you’d like to help small businesses, call or use online ordering directly from the businesses. Help by putting a stop to big business taking advantage of small businesses. We thank you for your support and if you’d like to share this post, make this problem more open to the public and noticeable- please do so. Thank you.

We’re back! Tomorrow we will be open 11-8:30 for traditional take out, curbside no contact, and delivery options. If you’d like a curbside option, we get it! Just call ahead and let us know. Credit card payment can be taken over the phone, and then just call us again when you’ve arrived and we will bring your order out to you. ... If you’d like to come in to order/pick up your meal- we’ve installed some extra safety precautions, but do ask that you protect us too and wear a mask. Delivery is available in house as usual & we are still located on Door Dash and Delivery Dudes. We are following all CDC guidelines and orders from Governor Wolf- so our patio and outdoor seating options will be available once Berks moves into the yellow phase. We’d like to introduce our newest employee! Leo Michael, born just yesterday and ready to start making pizzas with Dad.

With heavy hearts we have to let you all know- we have decided to remain closed for this time due to the current pandemic. After a phone consult with our obstetrician today, it was urgently recommended that we remain as socially distant as possible. The next little Giannotti is getting ready to make his way into the world in about 3 1/2 weeks, and the timing couldn’t be harder. We are beyond blessed as our family grows, but we also need to put everyone’s safety first. Many... of our costumers know our family personally and can imagine what a tough decision this has been. We don’t want to mislead anyone, so we are leaving our date to reopen to be determined. THANK YOU to everyone who has reached out with kind words- this is a community we couldn’t be happier to be a part of, and can’t wait to get back to. Stay safe, stay healthy.

How’s everyone holding up? We wanted to touch base- We are still remaining closed due to COVID-19, with the hope to reopen soon.... For those who do not know, we’re expecting our second son in May. This has put a little extra concern on us during this pandemic, but we’re working on options to reopen with everyone’s safety as our top priority. In the meantime we will continue to keep you all in our thoughts- and hope you continue to support the local businesses. It has been amazing to see the community coming together throughout this. Stay safe & stay healthy everyone.

Update to our community- Due to developing concerns and our determination to do what is best to help us all get past this, we will be temporarily closing as of Saturday (3/21). We’ll reevaluate in a week and hopefully things will be settled to reopen. This has been such a hard decision but feel we’d be doing our community and employees best by temporarily closing & staying home with family. Thank you to everyone who’s made a point to support us this week, you mean the world... to our family & encourage you to continued to support the local restaurants. And a huge thank you to all those in healthcare, first responders, grocery workers and beyond. Our family has you all and yours in our thoughts and prayers. We are also doing our best to help the community that’s been there for us these last two years; we’ll be offering an additional 10% off takeout orders. ... If you would like a curbside pick up, please just call in and specify that with you’re order and we’ll run it out to you. With deliveries remember that no-contact options are also available.
