Giving Tree Families

So many beautiful cards coming into us daily. I love the line in this card that the student says they are cheering on a member of the homeless community from their desk at school. That is what Giving Tree Families is all about. Let’s get our students thinking about others. Maybe they are sitting at their desks. And after this year what a blessing that is to sit with their peers and engage in learning. What an extra blessing to learn about others in need and to make a difference just by writing a note. #kidscangiveback #kidsholdingmarkers

Interesting article with many discussion topics. The most relevant to me and Giving Tree Families is the reality that changing the box top collection to a virt...ual format takes the child involvement away. It is such an important piece to involve our kids in supporting our communities. Meals-4-Kids Drive - Now thru May 14 Join us in tackling food insecurity among youth in our area. Now thru May 14th we will be collecting Meals-4-Kids Bundles. This assortment of snacks will be delivered to various local Boys & Girls Clubs and food assistance programs. Please reach out to us if interested in getting your family involved. We can provide tags, rubber bands, ribbon and an educational spotlight explaining food insecurity among youth. Together, we can make a difference! #kidscangiveback #fightinghunger
