Winter Storm Notice: No deliveries were made yesterday in light of the winter storm and snow. We were able to get some Thursday deliveries done on Wednesday anticipating the storm. We are making deliveries today. If your delivery day was Thursday you should be getting a delivery today. Please make certain that walkways and porches are clear where you desire your delivery to bed made. Our drivers will do the best they can to make deliveries in the desired location if it can be done reasonably and safely.

Before the day is over we at Glen Summit want to say thank you to all of the men and women who have served our Country on this Veteran’s Day. We all owe those who have served a debt that cannot be summed up in words. A special expression of thanks goes out to two of our own, Eric Morris and Tim Clark, who served our Country in the US Navy and US Army respectively., both Glen Summit Route Salesmen. Thank you for your service.

COVID-19 Update: We thought, during these difficult days, that it would be helpful and comforting to provide our customers with information about what we’re doing at Glen Summit to address concerns regarding this virus and keep our customers and employees as safe as possible. In order to limit exposure and the risk of infection or transmission we have taken the following measures: 1. We have eliminated walk in traffic to our office. Customers can still pick up water at o...ur facility but are greeted by a sign with a number to call to place a pick up order and are directed to the pick up area of our building. 2. Our route delivery employees are not entering homes to make residential deliveries in order to limit exposure to themselves and the risk of transmission to others. Additionally while we have continued to service health care facilities. Those deliveries are now being made with limited entry into any facility building. 3. We have doubled or tripled our cleaning and sanitizing procedures for common areas in our building and have been extending those sanitizing efforts to the frequently touched areas of our trucks. 4. For the last few weeks we have being conducting daily monitoring of employee body temperature to assure fellow workers and to keep anyone exhibiting symptoms away from our product and co-workers. We will continue to service our customers with delivery service as long as we are able to manage and successfully mitigate the risk of exposure. Whether you are a new customer or one that has been with us for years (or decades) we want you to know we are grateful for the opportunity to serve you. We look forward to the day when doing that looks a little closer to normal.
