Good Stuff Farm 09.05.2021

ANNOUNCEMENT: After careful consideration, I will NOT be offering a CSA this year. The likelihood of having a teaching job in the fall combined with increased responsibility in early spring (student teaching) just makes it too difficult to ensure I would be able to supply enough veggies for the shares. It was not easy to make this decision, as I really enjoyed providing all of you with veggies last year, and I know you all enjoyed them! However, all is not lost because I am ...planning on selling at the Corry Farmer's Market (has been on Fridays 9-1, thinking it will be the same this year, but haven't officially heard). I have some other ideas that would allow for people who can't make it then but would still like to buy from me (i.e., order/pick-up). If any pan out, I will post about them here. Depending on how things go, I may add the Warren Farmer's Market, but I am reducing the size of the garden, so I don't think I will have enough produce to go around. I thank you all for your wonderful support last year - I really loved every minute of it. Lastly, I don't think anyone I delivered to would be on their route, but there is another local farm that does CSA delivery - Plot Twist Farm from the Cambridge Springs area. If you are interested, they have a Facebook page.

Tomato time! CSA members: tomatoes (mostly paste style) for canning are available as an add on to your weekly share. Prices: 8 qts (splint) - $5. 1/2 bushel (about 25 lbs) - $10. I have some available for this week and probably the next two weeks. There is a limit of 1/2 bushel per family. Right now this is only open to CSA members. It will be first come, first served. Message or email me to indicate your interest.
