GUEST POST by @reaganeconrad on Instagram - My all time favorite thrifted sweatshirt is this Dale Earnhart crew I found at Goodwill for $3! So many people ask where I bought it and I love to proudly share that it was a Goodwill find! Fast fashion stores like Forever 21 and H&M have recently been producing replicas of vintage Nascar merchandise so it's even more special that this is a legitimate piece. Avoid shopping fast fashion when you can and shop secondhand. Let's do our part to limit the industry of fast fashion and support the local community through donations and shopping at Goodwill!
GUEST POST by @reaganeconrad on Instagram - I wish I was able to figure out exactly what era this sport jacket is, but from what I can tell, it's what I like to call: vintage. There are certain features to any good vintage piece that makes it stand out among the rest in a thrift store. From the color, style, to the interior embroidery and label, I can tell with certainty that this jacket did not come from the last few decades. I love vintage pieces because while unique and often valuable, they most importantly have lots of character. I found this piece at Goodwill! I'm thankful for others who donate to Goodwill and pass on their cherished pieces to be loved by the next generation! Don't forget to donate and let's keep the cycle going! #shopgoodwill

GUEST POST by @reaganeconrad on Instagram - It's spring time and that means spring cleaning is here! As you clean up your room and open up your closets, take some time to be intentional about what you no longer need and what you can donate. Fill up bags and boxes and stop by your local Goodwill to give your items a new home!

GUEST POST by @reaganeconrad on Instagram -I've said it once and I'll say it again, a good pair of jeans is essential to all of my favorite looks. I found this pair of Levi's at Goodwill for $3.99. I loved the light wash color but they were a bit too big to start with. So, with the savings from shopping at Goodwill, I was able to afford to stop by the tailor to get them fitted, supporting two local businesses in the process. Goodwill is a household name and a staple in our community for good reason. Take time to donate, shop and support a business like Goodwill that is always giving back.

GUEST POST by @reaganeconrad on Instagram - One extremely important part of any good thrifter's routine is to DONATE, DONATE, DONATE! Whether it's at the start of every season, every month, week, or year, it is extremely important to keep the cycle of secondhand clothes going, by giving some of your infrequently used items to Goodwill. My rule of thumb is this: if I plan to buy a big bag full of clothes from Goodwill, I pack a bag to bring along to the donation bins before heading inside to shop. This cycle keeps my closet from overcrowding and the flow of fresh items constantly streaming through the racks. I often ask myself, "Have you actually worn this recently"? If the answer is no, it goes along on my next trip to Goodwill to find a new home with someone who will wear it! #shopsecondhand
GUEST POST by @chicrevolt on Instagram - Time to break out the sewing machine!! Sometimes you find a great brand with an outdated or boring silhouette, but if it's a great quality piece anyway consider giving DIY a try. This cute two-piece set started as a boxy $4.99 Express tennis dress that did nothing to flatter me at all. The good fit in the shoulder had great potential and I'm so glad I didn't pass this up. Giving the bottom skirt a complete makeover and simply cropping the top was a perfect afternoon project. If you can sew a hem and a zipper, Goodwill becomes your playground & favorite fabric store pretty quickly.
GUEST POST by @chicrevolt on Instagram -Every photographer's favorite secret, finding the perfect fantasy props for this shoot was easier than ever with some help from Goodwill. No need to break the bank either to create an immersive shot. From ornate frames in the background to an entire candelabra, this all came together for less than $10! This beautiful vintage 90's dress scored for $12, paired with the perfect corset made such a dreamy look. While this corner is a staying... as a permanent fixture in my home, I was able to set the mood perfectly with a few key thrifted pieces! #fantasy #fantasyart #conceptart #costume #cosplay #cosplaying #cosplayer #halloween #costumedesign #comiccon #cosplaymodel #halloweencostume #cosplayersofinstagram #thrifted #thrifting #thrift #thrifter #thriftfinds #thriftedstyle #goodwill #fairytale #dndcharacter #tiefling #dnd #dungeonsanddragons See more

Guest post by @blythe.elizabeth.h on Instagram- Anyone who knows me know I heavily gravitate towards neutral colors. Oftentimes after a shopping trip to Goodwill my entire haul consists of things that are beige, cream, tan, white, etc.. I love how Goodwill coordinates things by color, making it easy to comb through everything and find things I like relatively quickly! My whole outfit was found in one trip to Goodwill, and cost under $20. What colors do you find yourself looking through the most when shopping at Goodwill?
