This morning on the TODAY SHOW they had the Most Reverend Michael Curry, Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church on. He was asked about finding hope in this ti...me of bitterly divided politics. He spoke about an incident that happened at a 2016 Trump rally where a white Trump supporter punched a black protester. The Trump supporter was prosecuted for this act & at his sentencing he apologized & commented to the black protester about how much a mess politics had become in our country. Black protester said to the white Trump supporter, "Let's have lunch." Curry then went on to tell people to reach out to people from the other side of the aisle politically & invite them out to lunch. See more
