Hey friends! This is Gretchen Lee. Many of you asked how you can help the Moads. They so appreciate the offers of help and prayer! They are in need of a meal tomorrow, Friday, maybe one over the weekend, and possibly Monday. Things are still up in the air, so we can't plan too far out at this point! Most pressing...who is willing to do a meal tomorrow and Friday? You can send me a private message! I'll give you details for drop off. Thank you for your willingness to serve the body of Christ!

Sweet little Grace Point Church Palmyra nursery babes! Our nursery is growing exponentially and they are too! The cuteness factor is over the top and the joy they bring is immeasurable. God has blessed us abundantly! The last two weeks we had 18! 18!!!!!

So much for good intentions! When I started this page, I had grandiose ideas of it becoming a blog, a forum, a meeting spot, a place to share questions, photos and stories. Like many good intentions, the goal was missed and the good intentions were empty. Many of you are aware that I served in paid nursery ministry at Hershey Free for nearly 10 years. During that time, I learned a lot about serving moms and babies and the volunteers who love on them. I loved, loved, loved wh...at we built there and was heartbroken to resign. In any case, I feel as though the Lord has honored the desire of my heart by allowing me to return to the type of ministry that I love through Grace Point Church. I have, however, been sad that I have not been able to spend the time on improving and expanding on Grace Point Nursery that I would have liked due to the limited time I have available to do so. I don't like feeling that I am only able to give a portion of my leftovers to the ministry that deserves so much more and has so much more potential than just being a safe place for babies to be deposited on Sunday. I have recently cut back on some of the other commitments that I have in my life which have hindered my creativity as it relates to nursery. I want to explore if some of the things we had in place at Hershey might have a new life at Grace Point. I'm writing this today to let you know that I am aware that we can do more to minister to not only our GP moms, but to also extend hospitality to the community. Would you pray with me for direction please? Ministry pieces that were in place at Hershey included a music class for babies and toddlers, story-time once per month with guest story-readers/tellers, toddler play time and fun little crafts and snack time. There were many other internal ministries hat we can explore in the future. I make no promises that any of the above can/will happen, as space and availability are likely an issue, but as we grow and expand, let's keep the dialogue going. I just wanted to acknowledge the gaps and let you know that I don't like that the gaps exist. I have a whole bunch of new fun, pictures of our group of 18 children from the last couple of Sunday morning, I hope to post them tonight. I will not tag the children, but if you don't mind if they are tagged, please go ahead and do that yourself for the sake of posterity. It's so much fun looking back in five years, but sometimes they change so much, they are not recognizable down the line! Love you all and am thankful for you all!

This is just so adorable! With all the snow outside our nursery, we could have a terrifically fun time next Sunday! Make sure you pack your baby's boots and snow suits for church next time. ;) https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ONj7oVYeFIw
