This morning I announced that Bishop Cynthia Moore-Koikoi has appointed me to the Emporium First United Methodist Church in the Kane District, effective July 1. Beverly has been appointed to the Smethport and Crosby UMC's (the Potato Creek Charge). It is painful to know I will be leaving people I've grown to love in Freeport and Natrona Heights, but I am trusting that God has many adventures awaiting us in the "Far East" of the Western Pennsylvania Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.
