Hello Spring!! It’s our favorite time of year While it may still be a tad early for seeding and planting, it’s the perfect time for trimmings and clean ups! Dear friends, Kathy and I apologize if we haven't gotten back to folks as promptly as usual. 2 weeks ago I took a spill and felt something pop and burn in my lower back. Despite immense pain and discomfort and even though it took me a few hours to get on my feet in the morning, I decided to press on and work through it as we are inundated right now and we truly want to serve everyone. Friday morning I woke up to unbearable pain and was paralyzed on my right side. I called K...athy at work and she immediately came home home and I crawled out of the front door across the street into her car. We made the terrible choice of choosing DCMH because of the amount of pain I was in. I will skip the details of that experience in the ER. While in the hospital I was able to get an MRI andthey told me that I had crushed my nerves in between 2 sets of vertabra and unfortunately I had a protrusion coming out of 2 of my disc's. I have to see a neurosurgeon immediately. During my time in the hospital my outstanding crew was there to pick up the baton and keep us moving forward. Tears fill my eyes when I think about what they did for Kathy and I. The crew will still be out there completing the work I will just have to take a backseat for right now. Kathy and I are doing our best to get caught-up with everything and everyone and we appreciate all the love we've received from everyone!! if you cannot wait for us to get there we understand just reach out and we will refer you to a trusted partner as our main goal is to make you happy even if we have to give up the work. I truly can't thank everyone enough for all the well-wishes and love as it gets me quite emotional when I think about it. Kathy and will reaching out and trying our best to right the ship here as even a few days of inactivity can set us back. Thank you all so much again for the love that you've given us!!!
