The pigs of 2020 have arrived!

This morning’s project- a main line for the garden and some new drip lines. The main line fittings are pretty difficult to press into the hose, but installing the drip tape branches is very easy. This is the first year of the seven we’ve been growing vegetables that I’ve needed to water. We’re very concerned about stressing our well as we depend on it for the animals and our house supply. Fortunately this drip tape is very low flow and the water is more effective when it seeps into the soil slowly. #smallscaleagriculture #growingvegetables #norain #letitrain #dripirrigation

I love growing flowers but I always feel guilty cutting them for some reason. Today I decided to go for it. The colors of these snapdragons are so brilliant.

So excited for all the beautiful life happening right before my eyes!
