The week long Gratz Fair is cancelled for this year; however, there are a number of upcoming youth livestock shows (Sept. 19 & 20) and sale (Sept. 21) you can watch from the comfort of your home. Note: the youth livestock shows are closed to the public and the sale is for potential bidders only. We are in the final stages of testing and reviewing documents for the Youth Market Livestock Shows and Sale. The Youth Exhibitors Tabloid, Online Registration Instructions, Online Process and other related material will be posted on Monday, August 17th, no later than noon at www.gratzfair.net. Deadline for online entries is Monday, August 31st. Judging of livestock - o Saturday, Sept. 19 at 10:00AM - rabbit meat pens o Saturday, Sept. 19 at 1:00PM - market lambs o Saturday, Sept. 19 at 4:00PM - market goats o Sunday, Sept. 20 at 1:00PM - market steers / dairy steers o Sunday, Sept. 20 at 4:00PM - market swine Times subject to change, depending on number of entries. CLAIR A HARTMAN YOUTH LIVESTOCK SALE o Monday, Sept. 21 at 5:30PM COVID-19: The Youth Market Livestock Shows and Sale will follow Governor Tom Wolf’s recommendations as they pertain to holding events, maximum attendance, social distancing, mask requirements, and the like.

We are planning on having a Youth Livestock Show and Sale on September 18, 19, 20, and 21, 2020. This will be a Youth Market Livestock event only. Youth born between September 2, 1997 and January 1, 2012 from Dauphin, Northumberland, and Schuylkill Counties will be able to participate. There will be a 3 market animal limit for the show. More details will be forthcoming.
