NEW COURSE OFFERING!! In partnership with The Benter Foundation and Derrick Feldmann, The Forbes Funds is excited to launch a new development & fundraising course, "Nonprofit Essentials: Development & Finance Scenario Planning." This course prepares organizations for the advanced ACCEL program. #nonprofit #philanthropy #fundraising This 12-week, online course was designed for new, small-budget and/or small-staffed nonprofits. This course builds capacity fundamentals in 4 core... strategic areas: Development, Finance, Communications and Board/HR. Each section includes 3 weeks of virtual group learning and 1 week of technical assistance coaching. Each section is taught by an industry leader and local champion of this work and course materials are designed to be easily implemented within organizations. The cost of the program is $200 for GPNP: Greater Pittsburgh Nonprofit Partnership members and $250 for non GPNP members. Our members and the nonprofit sector care about sustainable, affordable housing for residents in our communities. Thank you to Governor Tom Wolf and the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services for launching this critical relief program. To qualify for assistance, a household must be responsible to pay rent on a residential property and meet each of the following criteria: One or more people within the household has qualified for unemployment benefits, had a decrease in i...ncome, had increased household costs, or experienced other financial hardship due directly or indirectly to the COVID-19 pandemic; AND One or more individuals in the household can show a risk of experiencing homelessness or housing instability; AND The household has an income at or below 80 percent of area median income, which varies by county. Income limits by county are available on the DHS website. Resources (like bank accounts and cars) are not relevant to ERAP eligibility. See more
