Worthwhile visit to Capitol Hill today with National Skills Coalition. Individual meetings with Senate and House staffers as well as panel discussions to emphasize importance of funding for workplace skills training as well as a chance for participants to tell their success stories. Lorelei Gauthier and Jeff Bond of Philadelphia FIGHT did a great job talking about our CHW Apprenticeship program.

Nicole Ellis, Corporate Trainer at Liberty Resources, Training Fund graduate and OJT RTW grant participant, received her Certified Peer Specialist February 22, 2019. With Nicole who is on the left are her trainers Jim Klasen and Karen Escovitz. Training was offered at Mental Health Partners, another GPHP grant partner.
