MISSING FROM THE GREENFIELD/HAZELWOOD AREA Our three cats, ages 7, 7, and 14 all disappeared when a door was left unlocked and it blew open. Our children are ...devastated. All three are very friendly, so it would not surprise me to learn that they were taken in by neighbors. Please share with everyone. If you have any information, please message my fb or call 724-991-3611 See more

Just a reminder. Be kind. Our staff are working more hours and working harder than we usually do to ensure that your pet’s needs are taken care of. Our wait times are a little longer, but we are still here and working harder than ever. ... We want to continue to provide the amazing care that we are known for, but we also have to make sure our staff are taken care of too. We understand that this is a stressful situation and we are doing our best to accommodate everyone’s situation. We miss seeing our clients and patients together in our exam rooms, but we also want to keep everyone safe. So please, be kind. -Greenfield Veterinary Hospital It's not easy when you're being yelled at day in and day out because we're taking too long, because we aren't allowing clients in with their pets yet, because we don't have a prescription ready in 10 minutes, because appointments are running behind, because you didn't get a call back in 20 minutes. We have TWO phone lines and they're constantly in use. PLEASE understand that we are busy and we're doing all that we can, as fast as we can. We are only human.

Per Gov. Wolf and Dr. Kevin Brightbill, DVM of the PA Dept. of Agriculture: Consistent with what is being required of human medical providers, elective procedures must be postponed for companion animals to conserve medical supplies and safeguard human health. [...non-elective care and procedures for companion animals...are considered essential.]... It is critical while maintaining necessary services to conserve medical supplies such as masks and gloves and to take all precautions to safeguard human health. We are glad to be here for you and your sick pets during these times and have updated our procedures to operate strictly via curbside service. If your pet is coming to see us or you are picking up medication, please call us when you arrive and we will come out to you! Less foot traffic in the hospital = more effective social distancing. Thank you all for bearing with us during these changes!

We will still be available to refill your pets necessary medications.
